Muitas pessoas comemoram este dia com muita alegria. Muitos como mais uma data comemorativa.
Muitos torcem a cara. Muitos acreditam ser um dia desnecessário. Outros ensaiam a dizer: e o dia Internacional do homem? Muitos afirmam que todos são iguais. Poucos sabem o significado e a importância desta celebração.
Quando analisamos toda a evolução histórica dos direitos da mulher, percebemos quão humilhada e diminuída foi este ser que é chamado de sexo frágil. Que de frágil mesmo não tem nada! Sofrer tudo o que sofreu e ainda continuar firme, só sendo mulher.
Durante muito tempo esteve subjugada aos mandos e desmandos e ao poder do “macho”. Seu único direito era obedecer, e até chamava o seu marido de senhor. Sua função no núcleo familiar? Servir o marido, procriar e cuidar obrigatoriamente dos afazeres domésticos. A força física era a que tinha valor. A mulher o sexo frágil, sem valor.
Na sociedade atual a mulher ocupa lugar de destaque, em todas as áreas. São médicas, advogadas, motoristas de ônibus, juízas, promotoras, Pilotas de Avião, Marinheiras, Policiais, Guias de Turismo, Mecânicas, Professoras, e até presidenta do país. Vitórias incomensuráveis ao lembrarmos que nem o direito de votar possuía.
A comemoração deste dia é para lembrarmos que vocês mulheres são maravilhosas que merecem todo o amor e respeito, não apenas hoje, mas durante todos os 365 dias. E para não esquecermos que apesar de tantas vitórias se faz necessário que a luta pela igualdade continue, pois, a constituição ratifica tal direito fundamental, mas na prática ainda existem muitas mulheres que continuam subjugadas, sofrendo preconceitos, violências, humilhações.
Por isto, o dia internacional do homem, que me parece que até existe, se torna pequeno e desnecessário, o dia internacional do homem só será importante se for para que lembremos que se deve amar e respeitar a mulher.
Que o 08 de Março permaneça presente em nosso dia a dia, e que continuemos avançando no sentido de termos efetivamente uma sociedade justa e igualitária.
Meu respeito e amor às mulheres do meu Brasil e do mundo! Mulher = guerreira!

Many people celebrate this day with great joy. Many as another commemorative date. Many twist the face. Many believe one day be unnecessary. Other rehearse saying: and about a International Men’s day? Many claim that all are equal. Few know the significance and importance of this celebration.
When analyzing all the historical evolution of women's rights, realize how this was humiliated and diminished be what is called weaker sex. That has nothing fragile! Suffer all who suffered and still firm, just being a woman.
For a long time been subdued to commands and abuses of "Male power" ". His only duty was to obey, and even called her husband lord. His function in the family? Serving the husband, must procreate and care of household chores. Physical strength was that it had value. The woman the weaker sex, worthless.
In today's society the woman occupies an outstanding position in all areas. They are doctors, lawyers, bus drivers, judges, promoters, Airplane Pilot, sailors, police officers, Tourism Guides, Mechanics, Teachers, and even the country's president. Victories incommensurate to remember that neither had the right to vote.
The celebration of this day is to remember that you are wonderful women who deserve all the love and respect, not just today, but for all 365 days. And not to forget that despite many victories it is necessary that the struggle for equality continues, because the constitution ratified this fundamental right, but in practice there are still many women who continue suffering prejudice, violence, humiliation.
Therefore, the international men’s day, it seems to me that even exists, becomes small and unnecessary, the international man’s day is only important if it is to remember that must love and respect the woman.
March 8 that remain present in our daily lives, and to continue moving towards having effectively a just and egalitarian society.
